I have had the fortune to interact with on a social level and a business level with masons and many I would consider master masons. The reason I consider them master masons is that the continual strive to improve all aspects of both their personal and professional lives. But there is also a thread that runs deep that can only be understand through the craft of weaving masonry into their everyday lives in a way that is consistent with the true direction of masonry.
The surprising thing about it is that there are some people that consider the process complete once they have achieved the level of mason. It is a constant effort that requires attention because it falls under the category of leadership. I go into details of the art of consistent daily practice to truly consider yourself a master mason.
Without this outlook, it would benefit any mason to revisit the requirements for the Entered Apprentice Mason role.
